Caffeinating First Responders
I had the privilege of popping up for the brave firefighters in LA. Anomaly Coffee and I partnered up to caffeinate and say thank you in the way we know best. Coastal Coffee Collective, Dart Coffee, True Love Coffee, and Koatji donated their goods, making it a high end offering for the brave people who fought the Altadena and Palisades fire.

Stream USA Tech Conference
This is the 5th year I have been a part of Stream USA. Thought leaders, CEO’s, actors, and so forth, fly in from all over the world to check out the latest innovations of the year and showcase new technology. It is fascinating to be a fly on the wall. My twin sister Jeannine comes out from Colorado to help with this specific event. We have a blast!

A Whole New World
After 2 years of nothing…the world has opened up and now business is BOOMING! I think everyone got so wound up with energy, nowhere to go, the event industry is back stronger and hungrier than ever.

We Saved the Summerland Farm!
I am happy to announce we raised enough money to save a very valuable plot of land in Montecito. This is to be used for organic farming, and food source, and education. This land was in danger of being sold off to investors to build upon.
I was honored to be a part of the fundraising effort by providing cold brew and purchasing the fundraising coffee mugs on behalf of many of my clients.
Santa Barbara Bowl
The Santa Barbara Bowl is opened up this year for another amazing season of live music. The staff and talent need our services for a little pick-me-up before the shows. I am happy to provide the good stuff.
My Biz During Covid
Here we are coming into our 4th year of successfully building up the clientele with the coffee cart, and the whole world shuts down. Everyone is asking me how my business is doing during this time. And I respond with, it isn’t doing anything now. The main clients I have are corporate, where I go to their campus and bust out 100 coffees or so, and continue on. Since all campuses are shut down, that means my coffee cart is too.
Thankfully, I am still roasting my Friend Blend, and slinging out retail. I am also providing kits for Zoom on a monthly basis as a way to stay connected with them. In the meantime, the cart lives in my living room and I am using my van for date nights with my partner.

Ireland Coffee Shops
We met the sweetest people who owned cafes in Ireland. This is an amazing and talented cafe owner and ceramicist in Dingle Ireland. She and her sister owned the cafe and live the best lives.
JK Rowling Cafe
My partner and I took a trip to the UK and went to the cafe that JK Rowling started writing her Harry Potter series. The owner of the cafe was showing us exactly where she used to sit and write, looking out over the city of Edinburgh.
