JK Rowling Cafe
My partner and I took a trip to the UK and went to the cafe that JK Rowling started writing her Harry Potter series. The owner of the cafe was showing us exactly where she used to sit and write, looking out over the city of Edinburgh.
When Wifey Helps
Sometimes Annamarie will come with me to events. I like having her along, especially if it’s a beautiful venue, like this private polo field outside of Santa Barbara.
Espresso Martinis
Is there any greater combo of things? Cold Brew concentrate, Kahlua, and Vanilla Vodka, make for a great espresso martini for your guests who have been there for you all day. It definitely got people out on the dance floor.
Press Release Coffee
Set up for a press release at the El Encanto for the actors of the Netflix show “The Politician”. I got to make coffee for Ben Platt, Zoey Deutch, and Jessica Lang.
Downtown Coffee
I had an event at a wine tasting room in downtown Santa Barbara. This is a fun shot of me transporting the coffee cart around the city.
Greenhouse Wedding
The Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm is the most gorgeous wedding venue I get to do my cart at. It is right outside of Santa Barbara and is a series of greenhouses right on the ocean.
Coffee Roasting
I started roasting my own coffee for the cart as a collaboration with Low Pigeon Coffee. Dennis is the roaster over there and has been teaching me all about that part of the industry. I enjoy learning about the farms and the regions the coffee is grown. This part of the industry has always intrigued me, growing up in Iowa and seeing where the source of food comes from.
Pro Surfers Love Coffee
We made coffee for Lakey Peterson and Co. out at Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm. There was plenty of dancing and plenty of Aussies to appreciate the coffee cart.

Tropicana Student Housing in IV
I hired my best friend Perry to help me sling coffee for the students living in Tropicana in IV. She went to college at UCSB and we made it a fun morning after we worked. Went over to the COOP, walked around IV, hit the beach. We were hired out on a weekly basis for 2 months. It was a nice treat for them when we would come!
Jalama and The Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy owns a plot of land right on the coast near Jalama. Right where the north current meets the South current. Scientists live on the property and partner with the university to study and plant various species of trees and add to the ecosystem.
