Women Producers

At the roastery, we prioritize sourcing coffee from women-led cooperatives and producers. Women make up a significant portion of the workforce in coffee-growing regions, yet their contributions often go under recognized and underpaid. One of the programs we support is called The Women Coffee Producers project- this was created to celebrate and elevate the work of women throughout the coffee supply chain while helping address the persistent wage inequities they face.

One of my favorite green coffees we carry comes from Colombia and is produced by ASMUCAFE (Asociación de Mujeres Agropecuarias), a collective of women farmers and landowners whose dedication and expertise are tasted in every cup.
